Accommodation Policies & Terms

By making a booking with Tonga Cottage, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies apply to all Tonga Cottage properties, unless otherwise stated.

1. Booking & Payment Policy

  • A deposit or full payment is required to secure all bookings.

  • All deposits are strictly non-refundable, regardless of cancellation reason.

  • Bookings are not confirmed until payment is received.

  • Remaining balances (if applicable) must be paid before check-in.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations, date changes, or no-shows for any reason (including travel disruptions, cruise cancellations, flight changes, illness, or personal circumstances) do not qualify for a refund.

  • If you cancel after full payment, no refund will be issued unless explicitly approved in writing by management.

  • Date changes are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-in: From 3:00 PM

  • Check-out: By 10:00 AM

  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement and may incur an additional fee.

  • Guests staying beyond check-out time without approval may be charged an extra night.

4. Guest Numbers & Occupancy

  • Only the number of guests confirmed on the booking are permitted to stay.

  • Visitors or additional guests are not allowed without prior approval.

  • Exceeding maximum occupancy may result in immediate termination of stay without refund.

5. No Parties, Events, or Excessive Noise

  • Strictly no parties, gatherings, or events unless approved in writing by management.

  • Quiet hours must be respected at all times, especially late night and early morning.

  • Noise complaints from neighbours or other guests may result in eviction without refund.

6. Damage, Loss & Security

  • Guests are responsible for any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning caused during their stay.

  • Repair or replacement costs will be charged accordingly.

  • Management reserves the right to request compensation for damages discovered after check-out.

7. Cleanliness & House Care

  • Please keep the property in a reasonable and respectful condition.

  • Excessive mess, stains, or misuse of property may incur additional cleaning fees.

  • Towels, linens, and furnishings are for indoor use only unless otherwise stated.

8. Smoking Policy

  • No smoking inside any accommodation.

  • Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor areas.

  • Evidence of indoor smoking will result in a cleaning and deodorising fee.

9. Pets

  • Pets are not permitted unless specifically approved in writing prior to arrival.

10. Amenities & Utilities

  • Utilities, Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, and appliances are provided for normal use.

  • No refunds will be given for temporary interruptions due to maintenance, power outages, or circumstances beyond our control.

11. Safety & Liability

  • Guests stay at their own risk.

  • Tonga Cottage is not responsible for accidents, injuries, illness, or loss of personal belongings during your stay.

  • Children must be supervised at all times.

12. Right to Refuse Service

  • Management reserves the right to refuse accommodation or terminate a stay if house rules or policies are breached.

  • No refunds will be issued for removals due to policy violations.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By proceeding with a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all Tonga Cottage accommodation policies.
